The Kudos Story

We are a family business that started building bespoke high spec homes 50 years ago, so precision, detailing, and innovation are in our DNA. 

Over the last 20 years, the Orr family business has been active in using the latest timber frame, insulation, and airtightness technology to create some of the UK’s most impressive high performance low-energy homes.

Kudos started out as Advanced Timbercraft, but as the years rolled on and our vision grew, we realised we were creating clever spaces - spaces that merit kudos.  The addition of our exciting new Kudos Modular system now makes owning and benefitting from a Kudos home a real possibility for a much wider audience. 

Also, in 2020 we embarked on a partnership with industry leader Zyle Fenster to distribute their stylish, efficient, and bespoke window and door solutions.  The vast array of options available will facilitate the most ambitious designs of architects, developers, self-builders, and renovators.
